Johanna Loiseau is a North Dakota native who moved to Arizona in 2020 to pursue a B.A. Dance degree with a Business Management minor at Grand Canyon University. Johanna can be found performing in multiple different student, faculty and guest artist works, as well as choreographing her own pieces. Additionally, she has gotten the privilege of being nominated to showcase an original work, “Please, but no thank you,” at the American College Dance Association South-Central Conference in Spring 2024. Johanna is a versatile dancer with over 16 years of training under her belt and has recently emerged into the commercial dance industry as of 2022. Johanna joined Elektro Dance Academy’s professional commercial contemporary company, LUX, as well as their well-accredited Hip Hop company, Elektrolytes, as a principal dancer of their companies. Since then, Johanna has had the opportunity of being in multiple on-camera projects, performing at Choreographer’s Carnival in Los Angeles, performing with Tony Vincent and CeeLo Green at Celebrity Fight Night, and most recently performing in the Super Bowl LVII Apple Music Halftime Show with Rihanna. Post-graduation in April 2024, Johanna plans to remain local to Arizona as she continues training to move to Los Angeles, California in the near future.
