ACEND Accreditation
GCU’s College of Natural Sciences is proud to offer one program with full accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), while its Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences program is currently in candidacy for accreditation. ACEND is an independent accrediting agency responsible for evaluating education programs that work toward equipping students to pursue careers as registered dietitians or registered dietetic technicians. Programs that meet ACEND's accreditation standards receive accreditation from ACEND.(See disclaimer 1) Through these standards, ACEND accreditation assures that the educational experience for students meets global specifications for nutrition and dietetics education in key disciplines.
