Biography

Dr. Isac Artzi is a cross‑disciplinary professional with expertise spanning computer science, instructional design, mental health, game development, business and internet technologies. As program lead for the MS in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science and an associate professor in Grand Canyon University’s College of Engineering and Technology, he focuses on applying data‑science algorithms and data visualization — leveraging virtual reality and artificial intelligence — to mental healthcare, education and game development.

With 15 years of Silicon Valley experience, Dr. Artzi holds multiple software‑as‑a‑service patents and is the author of Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Mental Health: A Guide for Counselors in the Digital Age (Routledge). He is currently completing an MS internship in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and operates SenSym LLC, where he develops AI‑driven tools for mental healthcare, education and business. A multilingual, globally experienced professional, Dr. Artzi brings extensive research expertise from his work at Michigan State University and his role as chief technology evangelist at AppStream (acquired by Symantec), where he contributed to advancements in predictive streaming and edge‑caching technologies.
