Author Details

Dr. Meredith Critchfield is a dean, professor, researcher, author and podcaster with over 17 years of experience in K-12 and higher education. She currently serves as dean of the College of Education. Meredith has co-authored a book with Columbia University’s Teachers College Press, published several peer-reviewed articles, and won multiple awards for her research and teaching efforts, including Grand Canyon University's Leadership in Research and Scholarly Activity Award, GCU's Distinguished Faculty Scholar Award, and a Teacher of the Year Award. In 2017, she co-founded and now co-hosts a GCU podcast for educators called “Top of the Class.”
