Dr.Gwen Wodiuk
Faculty, College of Nursing and Health Care Professions
Dr. Wodiuk first considered nursing as a career only briefly, while attending a Christian college in the Midwest. Ironically, an aunt, who was a nurse, talked her out of it. It was almost 10 years later when she began the process that led to her being a family nurse practitioner and faculty member. She first earned an associate degree as a nurse. She then attended Arizona State University for her bachelor’s degree in nursing. In 2005, Dr. Wodiuk completed her Master’s degree and became a family nurse practitioner. In 2017, she graduated from the University of Colorado with her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She has been involved in education for family nurse practitioners since 2009.
