Sarah Kidd is earning her degree in professional writing for new media and double minoring in communications and forensic psychology. She plans to pursue a career in investigative journalism and crime reporting and enjoys taking classes in newswriting, crime and criminal psychology. She looks forward to doing her part in the community by spreading news about threats to the public through watchdog journalism.
She spent most of her childhood in Southern California before moving to central Colorado with her family. She loves the outdoors, especially when she’s surrounded by trees and can see the stars. She followed in her mother’s footsteps by coming to GCU and plans to graduate as a second-generation GCU alumnus.
From worshipping the Lord at church to swinging in a hammock with a book, Sarah loves any activity that involves Jesus, her friends and family, writing, reading, or the outdoors. Sarah will read any book, but her favorites are fantasy and science fiction books, with the J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings remaining very close to her heart after she found the books in the free book section of her high school library. She also enjoys writing news and sharing jokes and interesting facts with her close group of friends.
