Monday Morning Chapel: The Greatest Gift

Chapel Logo

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Albert Tate from Fellowship Church in Monrovia, Calif. spoke this morning at the GCU Arena on the famous and highly-quoted verse of John 3:16. He broke down the verse word by word, explaining how Jesus Christ was the ultimate gift who left his thrown of comfort to be among us broken humans for no other reason besides him loving us.

“Every great gift demands a great response,” said Albert. He continued, “So how do you respond to the greatest gift ever given?”

Albert’s enthusiasm and excitement filled the crowd as his quick wit and humor excitingly told of the gift that Jesus brings to our lives. When we are able to surrender our all to Christ and move from perishing to eternal life, we are able to live fuller and more complete lives because they are for the glory of God.
