Freshman education major Molly Krabbe discussed her thoughts on Palmer Chinchen’s message with Pastor Tim Griffin after Chapel on Monday; “He really talked about us getting out and doing things to change poverty and I think that’s so awesome to hear as a college student, because we do have the resources here in America to do that kind of stuff – to reach out, even in our own neighborhood.”

Palmer Chinchen is an advocate for the fight against poverty and is encouraging people to make minor sacrifices in their lives which will in turn make a huge difference in someone else’s life. At Thursday’s basketball game, attendees will be encouraged to donate the shoes on their feet so that they can be sent to Africa to those who don’t own a pair of shoes.
