Christians tend to find themselves in the middle of culture wars with all of the disagreeing perspectives and opinions that surround our culture today.

This week on Trending Faith, Grand Canyon University Pastor and Dean of Students Tim Griffin and Dean of the College of Theology Jason Hiles, PhD, discussed why ethics are important in the conversation of salvation and grace.

“I don’t think we have to earn our salvation. We shouldn’t for the purpose of gaining or keeping our salvation. It’s a reflection of what it means to follow Jesus,” said Tim Griffin.

Our practicing of what is “right and wrong” should flow from our devotion to follow Christ, not because we believe that we have to do to earn grace or love.
