  • Dr. Frederick's Book Has Inspirational Ideas About Worship
When he was writing his dissertation earlier this decade, John Frederick, PhD, coordinator for the Center for Worship Arts, thought about how he might adapt it into a book for public consumption. That was the inspiration for "Worship in the Way of the Cross," published recently on Amazon. Dr. Frederick's book urges churches to create a style of worship that inspires transformative participation in the redemptive love of Jesus Christ.
  • Faculty Member Published in The Washington Times
College of Theology faculty member Joshua Greever, PhD, recently teamed up with David Kotter, PhD, of Colorado Christian University, to write an opinion piece for the Washington Times titled, "Are riches and righteousness necessarily at odds?" The article examines what the Bible says about those who are wealthy and if they are meant to be condemned or commended for their gains.
  • Worship Arts EP Climbs the iTunes Charts
College of Theology students Desiree Aguilar and Jessi Sams collaborated to create the melodic tune, "Follow You." Since its release, the song has climbed as high as number 37 in iTunes Christian singles chart.
  • Professor's Book Illuminates Biblical Stories
College of Theology assistant professor Pete Charpentier, DMin, recently published the book, "Truth from the Trenches - Using God's Word to Illustrate Timeless Truths."
