    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration program will be able to identify business needs in the health care field, problem solve, and manage resources to produce effective organizational outcomes.
    • Identify the different organizational structures and related issues within the contemporary health care system.
    • Describe organizational management principles.
    • Identify the major organizational resources needed to accomplish strategic health care initiatives.
    • Determine the impact that an organization's vision and mission have on effectively managing resources.
    • Propose a change initiative to resolve issues within a health care organization.
  • Communication -
    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration program will be able to demonstrate effective communication skills critical to the development and maintenance of internal and external relationships utilizing communication theory, tools, and technologies proven most effective for the situation and organization.
    • Describe the principles of effective communication.
    • Identify methods or practices of rationally and effectively discussing issues and resolving conflict.
    • Identify appropriate practices regarding respectful and confidential communication in compliance with HIPAA.

    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration program will be able to demonstrate collaboration with interdisciplinary groups, understand the roles and responsibilities of team members, and attributes of effective work groups to achieve common objectives within the health care organization and community.
