  • Definitions & Parameters: Graduation Rate is calculated based on qualified starts who began the program within a specified timeframe and graduated within 150% of the published time for the program. The published time for the BS-HIM program is 48 months/4 years, and 150% of the published time for the program is 72 months/6 years. A student is considered a qualified start if they attempted at least 3 courses in their program of study. Students who began in 2019 would be expected to graduate by 2024 (i.e., 150% of the published time for the program - 72 months/6 years from when they started). 16 of the 64 qualified starts who began the BS-HIM program in 2019 graduated by the end of 2024 (16/64=.25 or 25%).
