Many dining locations offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options, making it simple for students with dietary preferences or restrictions to find meals that fit their needs.

  • Mindful Dining focuses on recipes created by Sodexo’s executive chefs and registered dietitians. These items are made to be flavorful while meeting thoughtful nutrition standards such as 600 calories or less, limited fat and sodium, zero trans-fat and at least three grams of fiber. Fresh Fusion and Lopes Mart frequently feature these items, and more details can be found at mindful.sodexo.com.
  • Healthy Picks expands beyond Sodexo recipes and highlights nutritious selections available at all GCU dining locations. This program uses simple icons to help students identify options that are healthier overall, as well as those that are vegetarian, vegan or gluten‑friendly. Icons are posted at each location, and students can also explore the full guide for easy meal planning.

Dining on campus makes student life easier by removing the need for grocery shopping, cooking or clean‑up. With 39 dining locations and five convenience stores across campus, students can always find something they want, right when they want it. Students living on campus are required to purchase a meal plan, and each student can choose the plan that best fits their personal dietary needs. The top‑tier plan offers the best value and even includes 150 bonus Dining Dollars.

Meal plans are also a great option for students living off campus. Busy days filled with classes, studying and activities can make it hard to plan meals, and having a meal plan ensures you can grab something quick and affordable between commitments.
