What do you think of when you imagine Christmastime? Do you think of ugly sweaters? Dressing warm in the cold? Watching cheesy Christmas classics? Decorating the Christmas tree with your family?
For me, I immediately go to the Christmas drinks. Give me a mug in the shape of a snowman’s head and fill it with hot chocolate, coffee, chai, etc., and I’m one happy girl. So, in honor of that, I have collected a list of some of the best Christmas drinks in Phoenix. It may be warm outside, but you can trick your mind into thinking it’s winter by drinking some of these!
Grand Canyon Beverage Company
Grab your stamp card for Grand Canyon Beverage Company and go get a Polar Espresso. It’s a blend of mocha and amaretto, which is perfect for the season! Your taste buds will definitely be thanking you as you grab one on campus or at the GCU Hotel.
Are you a fan of chai and white chocolate? If so, Christmas Morning from Dutch Bros. is what you need in your life this December. With the half-and-half milk, whipped cream and spices, this drink will put you right by the tree with your loved ones.
Tip: Grab yourself a double chocolate candy cane muffin top! They are only there for a limited time.
Whether you like the cups or not, Starbucks pulls out their best when it comes time for Christmas. This year, try their Christmas Tree Frappuccino. It’s pretty, picture-worthy and tastes like Christmas.
The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
The Coffee Bean’s menu during the winter is top notch. If you are craving a tea latte, grab a Winter Dream Tea® Latte. It’s a nice black tea laced with cinnamon and cloves. If you want something with no caffeine, try the Red Velvet Peppermint Hot Chocolate. It’s exactly as it sounds: delicious.
Luci’s at the Orchard
This coffee spot is highly popular for college students. With the cute name and cheerful atmosphere, Luci’s is a great place to study for finals or catch up with old friends. For the Christmas season, they have a delicious Gingerbread Cappuccino – the perfect way to enjoy the blissful tastes of the holidays!
Miracle Mile Deli
Miracle Mile has been a staple in the Valley for 68 years and has been family-owned and operated for three generations. This place provides every customer with a unique experience in casual dining with a great menu. This Christmas, they have the Holiday Peppermint Shake, which looks just as great as it tastes!
Ruze Cake House
Ruze is one of most aesthetically pleasing places in Arizona. Head over and take a photo by their famous sign, “Stop & Taste the Roses,” and then order one of their hot chocolates! Available in rose, lavender, caramel and peppermint, these indulgent drinks bring the winter straight to Arizona. Try the White Peppermint Hot Chocolate with homemade marshmallows and enjoy the Christmas music in the background.
Tip: Order the gingerbread macaroons and be wowed by their taste.
