The heart of Grand Canyon University’s campus lies within the city of Phoenix, but its reach expands far past the gates of Camelback Road. With our online degrees and cohort programs, our purple pride expands all across the United States.

Rising out of the Spiritual Life department, the leadership team of over 40 students with a heart for serving is opening doors for students to love the Lord and love our neighbors.

Split into two teams, but united for one mission, Global Outreach focuses on serving people beyond our borders and Local Outreach serves the people in our backyard. Students are encouraged to become active participants in the various ministries that the Outreach teams provide.

The Outreach teams are dedicated to the involvement of all students, whether it’s work at a local homeless shelter, teaching neighborhood kids about Jesus with silly songs and fun skits, or even taking a leap of faith and participating in an international mission trip.

The student volunteers make these ministries possible. Every week there are chances for students to serve their community and learn vital skills to go on and make disciples of all nations.

For a full list of the different ministries and opportunities the Outreach team offers stop by the Office of Spiritual Life or visit the Outreach website.
