Monday Morning Chapel: Turn the world upside down with the Gospel

Chapel Graphic

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile” (Romans 1:16).

Warren Stewart Jr. from Church of the Remnant challenged students at Monday morning’s Chapel service to be unashamed of the Gospel. He referenced Acts 17:1-6 that told the story of a mob storming the homes of believers to stop them from preaching the Gospel. A mob tried to stop the Good News because it was threatening to the culture that they knew and were comfortable with.

Warren wants us to disturb culture by turning it upside down with the news of Jesus Christ.

“There are no accidents or coincidences in God,” Warren exclaimed. “You are here at GCU at this appointed time and this season to hear a word from God to set you on a path of, not just finding your purpose, but having the boldness to walk it out.”
