GCU Center for Worship Arts Featured in the Arizona Republic

Ever since its launch, Grand Canyon University’s Center for Worship Arts has continued to find success and gain the recognition of many. For students interested in pursuing worship leadership, performance and production, GCU is a great place to start their journey and earn a worship arts degree.

The Worship Arts Degree

Students interested in earning a worship arts degree at GCU can choose from a variety of emphases. For example, the Bachelor of Arts in Worship Arts with an Emphasis in Worship Ministry prepares students who have a passion for Christian musical performance to lead impactful worship. In this engaging program, students develop a strong foundation for a career in worship ministry. Students interested in working behind the scenes with lighting, production design and technical direction can earn a Bachelor of Arts in Worship Arts with an Emphasis in Worship Production.

In the program, industry experts, instructors and seasoned worship ministers contribute to students’ learning experience. Students also have access to the new GCU Recording Studio, which provides them with opportunities to create and share music.

To add to all of the excitement surrounding GCU’s worship arts degrees, the Center for Worship Arts was recently featured in a story by the Arizona Republic!

The article highlighted how GCU’s Center for Worship Arts was formed and what makes it unique. According to GCU’s president and CEO Brian Mueller, the program educates well-rounded students who will be in demand as leaders of musical worship services in churches.

The Future of Worship Arts

With GCU’s goal of producing one album per school year, exciting things can be expected from the Center for Worship Arts moving forward. The release of this year’s Canyon Worship is expected to be in April, featuring talented students in the program. The album will give listeners a look into what has been happening in the recording studio.

Ultimately, bringing glory to Christ is the focus of GCU’s Center for Worship Arts.
