    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Master of Science in Leadership will practice the self-reflection and self-awareness skills required to develop their personal and professional abilities and the competence required to be an effective leader.
    • Evaluate qualities of professional development that characterize inspiring and effective leadership.
    • Practice methods of self-reflection that contribute to the development of character required by effective leaders.
    • Develop emotional and social intelligence skills to effectively interact with others.
    • Demonstrate adaptability in response to changing or unknown circumstances.
  • Leading Others -
    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Master of Science in Leadership will be able to positively influence others to develop their own professional and leadership skills and work together to achieve common goals.
    • Analyze leadership and motivation through the lens of conscious capitalism to inspire followership.
    • Analyze people’s strengths in order to leverage diversity to improve performance outcomes.
    • Evaluate strategies for effectively leading diverse teams and fostering collaboration.

  • Leading an Organization -
    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Master of Science in Leadership will be able to create compelling vision and drive innovative change to encourage organizational growth and improved outcomes for all stakeholders.
    • Analyze organizational behavior to determine systemic interdependencies among individuals, teams, and departments.
    • Apply creativity and innovation to improve organizational outcomes.
    • Evaluate strategies for fostering a climate of learning and development within an organization.
    • Develop and communicate compelling vision to guide organizational development.

  • CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP -
    Graduates of Grand Canyon University’s Master of Science in Leadership will evaluate how Christian values, morals, and ethics contribute to effective leadership. Through analysis of biblical passages and Christian perspectives of service and commitment to the common good, students will be able to explain how leadership as a Christian vocation requires dedication to improving one's self, the lives of those one influences, and the community at large.
    • Interpret Christian perspectives of leadership through the analysis of biblical passages.
    • Examine the moral obligation of leaders to lead with kindness, compassion, and justice for the good of followers and the community.
    • Analyze leadership as service to others and the common good that contributes to the restoration of communities and society at large.
    • Make ethical decisions based on Christian values and principles.
