Cynthia Calhoun
Costume Shop Manager/Head Stitcher
Biography
I am a theatre educator with specialized interests in theatre history, dramaturgy, and costume design and construction. I have been fortunate to work at multiple levels in education, from children's theatre to college. Beyond teaching and managing costuming at GCU, I have been involved in local community theatres for over ten years, worked with the Arizona Thespian Society, and mentored other teachers (both at the high school and college levels). I also write for StageAgent.com, a theatre resource website, and have designed the online curriculum, now implemented in school districts around the country.
