Biography
Highly accomplished and versatile academic leader with a robust background in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Public Health, and workplace ethics and advocacy. Possessing a PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University, I bring expertise in academic program development, ethics and advocacy plan formulation, and organizational change management. My career journey has been marked by a dedication to fostering student success, developing impactful advocacy strategies, and driving continuous improvement in educational institutions.
Throughout my tenure as an Academic Records Manager at Grand Canyon University, I have demonstrated exceptional leadership in overseeing the Academic Records Office, mentoring a team of 14 academic specialists and student workers, and developing university-wide policies and procedures. Notably, I led the development and implementation of streamlined processes for credentialing and institutional recommendations, significantly reducing processing time and enhancing overall efficiency. My ability to resolve complex academic issues, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a culture of change has been instrumental in achieving departmental objectives and optimizing performance.
As an adjunct faculty member, I contribute to the College of Education and College of Humanities and Social Sciences, teaching courses such as Sensation and Perception, Cognition, Educational Psychology, and Ethics and Advocacy in Education. This experience has honed my skills in student coaching, course development, and academic instruction, further complementing my academic leadership capabilities.
