Biography
I am a native of Phoenix, AZ. I enjoy camping, biking, soccer, and music in my spare time. I completed undergraduate studies at Columbia College, Missouri. I also earned a Master’s of Science in Quality Assurance at California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Masters in Project Management at Keller Graduate School. I completed my doctoral studies in the Organizational Leadership program at Grand Canyon University. I currently facilitate masters level courses in Operations Management, Strategic Management, Predictive Analytics, and Leadership and Organizational Behavior. I have developed and facilitated undergraduate Probability and Statistics courses focused on the basic concepts of descriptive and inferential statistics, and experimental design. I assisted students in exploring study and sampling designs by reviewing the steps of experiment design. Statistical methodologies include graphing, probability theory, estimation, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression, and analysis of variance. My professional interests include innovation, leadership, organizational learning, organizational development, process improvement metrics, and organizational systems auditing. I have been certified by the American Society for Quality as a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and as a Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE). I have additional certifications in ISO/AS9100 Systems Auditing and as a certified CMMI Associate. I have a broad background in technology, statistics, and organizational improvement activities. After serving ten years in the US Army, I worked in the semiconductor industry prior to joining the Department of Defense in 2009. In 2020, I accepted a position working for NASA as a Quality Engineer on the LandSat-9 program. I currently work as an Advanced Quality Engineer at General Dynamics
