Biography
Doctorally prepared clinical psychologist and higher-education faculty member with a strong record of teaching, course development, and student mentorship across online and seated learning environments. Earned a PhD in Clinical Psychology from Walden University (2018) and published a dissertation examining the impact of Depakote on agitation and short-term memory in nursing home dementia residents.
Currently serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Psychology and Human Services at Hilbert College (January 2026–present) and has extensive concurrent adjunct experience teaching undergraduate and graduate psychology/human services courses with multiple institutions, including Grand Canyon University, Southern New Hampshire University, Bryant & Stratton Online, and Hilbert College. Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing research-focused courses, supporting capstone projects, and applying innovative instructional strategies to strengthen engagement and learning outcomes.
Brings applied clinical and leadership experience in behavioral health and long-term care, including work as a clinical staff psychologist and as a social work consultant providing training and support to facility-based professionals. Known for strategic leadership, relationship-building, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through culturally responsive communication and advocacy for equitable access to resources. Skilled in accreditation and regulatory compliance, data-informed decision-making, outcome assessment, and the effective use of learning management systems and educational technologies. Active member of professional organizations including NYSPA and APA.
