Biography
Dr. Lynn Basko has been a Professor with the College of Education at Grand Canyon University for 11 years. In 2017, she completed her Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis in K-12 Education from Grand Canyon University. She has a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education from ASU. Before working as a full-time faculty member at GCU, she worked as a 5th grade teacher in Chandler, AZ for 8 years. She loved working with elementary age children, but her passion for guiding future teachers led her to GCU and that remains her motivation each day. She continues to research strategies for reducing stress for teachers, helping online instructors reach their students in a more relational way, and how to encourage teamwork in the education field.
