Biography
Administrative, clinical, academic director and associate dean with primary responsibility and authority for leadership of a health science program to fulfill department/division and college objectives. Demonstrated leadership in the creation and implementation of policies, procedures and programs while developing resources and oversight to manage the division's complex budget. Provided oversight of federal grants and outcomes while creating new and managing existing projects. Led divisions policies and directions for accreditation, clinical assessments, out-reach, selective admissions, retention, student success while serving on college planning bodies and internal and external committees. Created synergy between college and community outreach programs to enhance real world experiences and deliver health care services. Implemented electronic authentic assessment systems and simulation based experiential learning. Collaborated with academic and college councils, pre-admission advisors and other University stakeholders to constantly monitor and react to market demand and workforce development. Taught various didactic and clinical courses in health science and online in health care administration. A dedicated senior healthcare consultant within a Fortune 500 Global Insurance Healthcare Organization to improve health outcomes for Community Plan members including women and children.
