Biography
Dr. Neina F. Ferguson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Florida, specializing in feeding and swallowing in preterm and medically fragile infants. Her research focuses on improving clinicians’ interpretation of neonatal feeding behaviors through video simulation training to enhance assessment accuracy and support safer feeding outcomes during NICU-to-home transitions. Dr. Ferguson is committed to preparing graduate clinicians to apply evidence-based, family-centered, and ethically grounded approaches in neonatal feeding and early intervention settings.
