Paul Danuser
Associate Professor
Biography
Paul Danuser has been with Grand Canyon University’s College of Education for eleven years. Dr. Danuser has a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Dr. Martin Luther (MN) College, a Master of Arts in secondary education from University of Phoenix and successfully defended his dissertation in the PhD in higher education administration program, also from University of Phoenix. The focus of Paul’s dissertation is the self-efficacy of the university students who are providing tutoring and mentoring to the high school students attending the Learning Lounge. Paul was a high school English teacher for nearly 30 years, serving both Christian and public schools in Wisconsin, Washington, California and Arizona. Over the years, Paul has also coached baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball and tennis, which has prepared him well for his current role as PA announcer for several of GCU’s teams. Paul has been recognized several times over the years for his work with Fellowship of Christian Athletes, student council and supporting Best Buddies and other clubs while at those high schools. Paul is blessed to be married to Kellea, a women’s health nurse practitioner and educator, and together they have three adult children and two adorable grandsons.
