Rebekah Jones
Adjunct Faculty
Biography
I am a dedicated and seasoned Counselor with over a decade of comprehensive experience in clinical mental health counseling and licensed chemical dependency counseling. Possessing licenses in Texas and Idaho, I have adeptly served diverse populations in both in-patient treatment facilities and private practice settings. My expertise extends to curriculum development for various specialized programs, including those tailored for family dynamics, faith-based communities, eating disorder recovery, women's mental health, and trauma processing. Notably, I have demonstrated proficiency in working with high-trauma populations, including military personnel and survivors of human trafficking, fostering environments conducive to healing and growth. In addition to my clinical practice, I am also an author, having written and published four books with two more currently in development. My publications reflect my commitment to enhancing mental health awareness and providing valuable insights into overcoming personal challenges. Moreover, my involvement in psychological assessments, within the scope of my licensure, underscores my dedication to ensuring comprehensive care for my clients. I am also actively engaged in media outreach, contributing to interviews and publications for various reputable news outlets and online platforms. My participation in media endeavors allows me to amplify crucial mental health messages and advocate for destigmatizing conversations surrounding psychological well-being. With a rich background in counseling, program development, publication, and media engagement, I am poised to continue making impactful contributions to the field of mental health while empowering individuals to lead fulfilling and resilient lives.
