Biography
Dr. Sarah Schroyer is an Assistant Professor in the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions. She is the Program Faculty Lead for the MSN-Leadership in Health Care Systems and MS-Health Administration programs. Dr. Schroyer holds a DNP from Grand Canyon University and an MSN in Health Systems Leadership from Gonzaga University. She holds professional certifications as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse, Board-Certified Nurse Executive, and Certified Nurse Educator.
Dr. Schroyer previously held positions in nursing leadership in both hospice and homeless healthcare organizations. These areas continue to be both passions and topics of research for her.
Dr. Schroyer has been at GCU since 2018. In addition to multiple committees within CONHCP, she is a member of the University Assessment Committee and the Academic Affairs Committee. She serves as a subject matter expert for her programs and others. Additionally, she serves as the co-chair for the college’s Systematic Plan for Program Evaluation (SPPE).
