Strategic Educational Alliances

GCU developed multiple alliance programs to support the needs of specific types of K12 communities. Benefits include scholarships for students, staff and parents, access to professional development and connections to GCU resources. We provide all of these resources and more to K12 communities at no cost to alliance participants.

CCSC

Canyon Christian Schools Consortium (CCSC)

The Canyon Christian Schools Consortium (CCSC) is an alliance participant program with goals to reduce the overall cost of private Christian education, increase enrollment for faith-based high schools and encourage Christian high school students to enroll at GCU.

CCSC is designed to enhance the Christian educational experience of your teachers, students, parents and school community through scholarships on university programs and discounts on professional development and training.

As CCSC evolves, so do the services and support that GCU offers to members. We welcome your input and feedback about ways we can further serve CCSC members and Christian education.

Tuition Savings Up To $16,000

Students must also meet the eligibility requirements. This award could save students up to $16,000 on college tuition over the course of four years.(See disclaimer 1)

Traditional Campus Scholarships

High school students (grades 9-12), graduating from a CCSC participant high school, may have the opportunity to receive a CCSC award in the amount of:

  • $4,000 (for those living on campus) per year for each year of attendance
  • $1,500 (for those living off campus) per year for each year of attendance
PLLS

Participants in Learning, Leading and Serving (PLLS)

Participants in Learning, Leading and Serving (PLLS) is a GCU participant program delivering services and additional opportunities focused on attracting, retaining and maintaining quality professionals in education and educational leadership. The PLLS program is designed to benefit teachers, students, parents and leadership of public district schools through alliance scholarships, professional development and more.

As PLLS evolves, so do the services and support that GCU offers to its members. We welcome your input and feedback about ways we can further serve our PLLS participants.

Additionally, as an alliance member, you may choose to pursue a degree program through the College of Education or the College of Doctoral Studies. Scholarships are also available through other GCU colleges as specified in alliance agreements.

CEP

Canyon Educational Participant (CEP)

Canyon Educational Participant (CEP) is a participant program offering services and additional opportunities focused on attracting, retaining and maintaining quality professionals in education and educational leadership. CEP is designed to benefit the teachers, students, parents and leadership of public charter schools and educational organizations.

As the concept of CEP evolves, so do the services and support that GCU offers to members. We welcome your input and feedback about ways we can further serve you and your educational community.

The College of Education and the College of Doctoral Studies offer degree programs that are popular amongst many of our participants; however, scholarships are available in all of GCU’s colleges.

ALPHA

Alliance Program for Home School Achievement (ALPHA)

The Alliance Program for Home School Achievement (ALPHA) is a participant program offering support services and opportunities to enhance the educational experiences of homeschool organizations, groups and families. Through alliance scholarships, ALPHA is designed to benefit the students, parents and leadership within your educational community.

The CCSC program offers various award amounts based on several eligibility criteria, including the number of years at a participating CCSC school, the age of the CCSC recipient and the recipient’s decision to live on or off campus.
