Grand Canyon University aims to make the enrollment process for veterans as straightforward and convenient as possible. With the help of the military enrollment team, you can apply and use your approved Top-up as well as your Chapter 30 and/or Chapter 33 Post-9/11 GI Bill® to cover the cost of your program. Here are three simple steps to follow if you would like to use your entitlements while enrolling at GCU as a veteran:

Step 1: Determine Your VA College Benefits

The first step in the enrollment process is to determine your VA college benefits. Your military enrollment counselor will guide you through the right questions to ask when determining which benefits are best for funding your degree. Some of the many programs available to you may include the Chapter 30 Montgomery GI Bill®, The Yellow Ribbon Program or the Chapter 33 Post 9/11 GI Bill®. It is important to explore all of your options so that you can choose the right path.

Step 2: Apply for Your VA College Benefits

The next step in the enrollment process is to apply for your VA college benefits. With the help of your military enrollment counselor, you can complete the necessary VA forms to begin the VA college benefits application. If you do not have a Certificate of Eligibility from your regional VA office, you can complete the Veterans Online Application to earn your benefits.

Step 3: Submit VA Forms to GCU Veterans Affairs Office

The third and final step of this process is to simply submit your VA forms to your GCU enrollment counselor! Throughout this entire process, your enrollment counselor will be there to answer any questions you may have and help guide you through your journey to a college degree. If at any time you have additional questions about educational benefits that may be available to you, you may also call 855-GCU-LOPE.
