Grand Canyon University is built on a Christian foundation and seeks to provide its students with all the tools necessary to grow in their relationship with the Lord and be able to preach the good news to everyone they come in contact with. GCU does this through its classes, weekly Chapel sessions, weekly worship nights, outreach opportunities and Life Groups.
Life Group is a weekly, student-led Bible study that takes place in every living area on campus. There are multiple Life Groups in each building, giving students the opportunity to choose which group is best for them.
GCU’s on-campus apartments also offer Life Groups, separated into male and female groups, and Community Groups, co-ed groups with two leaders. All Life Groups and Community Groups are led by student leaders who had to undergo a rigorous selection process to make sure they are well qualified to help their fellow students better understand God’s word and how to live it out.
There are many reasons why you should consider setting aside an hour or two once a week to join a Life Group.
