TSL-590TE: BLE or TESOL Practicum

This course gives educators direct experience and participation with English language learners or bilingual students in a P-12 educational setting at their selected level of instruction. While completing this course, educators will conduct assessments, practice teaching skills and learn how to communicate effectively with students, parents, administrators, colleagues and the community. This course provides 60 practicum or field experience hours. Also, fingerprint clearance is required.

Completing this Bilingual Education (BLE) or Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) practicum course will provide you with valuable, firsthand experience in a P-12 educational setting at your chosen level of instruction. This experiential learning opportunity can open doors to exciting new teaching opportunities and take your career to new heights.
