Finding Tatum’s Purpose: Take a GCU Apartment Tour!

Life in the GCU apartments is even better than I anticipated! For those of you who don’t know, GCU has several different living options. Students can live in dorms in which four to six students share two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a communal living area. Students also have the option to live in an apartment, like I do, which offers more privacy. I have my own room, which means I don’t have to worry about disturbing a roommate and I can decorate any way I like. One of the things I love most is being able to make up my own sleeping schedule!

I also love having a full kitchen in the apartment. The food on campus is awesome, but it is so nice to be able to cook my own meals. Sometimes, my suitemates and I cook meals together and it is a blast!

But my favorite thing about living in an apartment is that I am still close to everything. Each floor of the apartment has a Life Leader so I can still attend Bible studies and get to know people like I did while living in the dorms. It is also really cool how living in the apartments makes me feel more like an upperclassman – I feel much more independent! I love living in the apartments and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds!
