Learn About the Admissions Process

To enroll at GCU as an international student, you must submit a completed application plus an International Student Sheet. Also, you will need to provide educational transcripts and an official document that serves as evidence of English proficiency. Are you already an F-1 student at another U.S. educational institution? If so, then our university counselors can guide you through the transfer process in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) after your acceptance at GCU.

Understand the Health Requirements

Before you can enroll in classes as an international student at GCU, you will need to submit verification of two measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunizations. Documented evidence of immunization against or immunity to MMR is also acceptable. Commonly, our international students find it more affordable and convenient to receive these required immunizations before leaving their native country for the U.S.

All international students are required to carry health insurance through GCU. Insurance may not be waived and will be added automatically to your student account for payment. GCU partners with Aetna Student Health to provide health insurance for international students.
