Going to college is no small feat! Many students are not prepared for the amount of homework and studying that is required to maintain an acceptable grade point average and gain an overall valuable experience.

Grand Canyon University’s College of Nursing and Health Care Professions helps students prepare to become future healthcare professionals through dynamic courses and accredited degree programs. While earning your healthcare degree, you will be studying to fully prepare you for a job in the healthcare industry. Here is a list of campus resources to help you in your studies as you go through your healthcare program:

The Library

The library is a great resource! The campus library at GCU offers various articles, books and electronic documents that will be beneficial to you as you conduct research for your various papers, projects and assignments. The GCU library also provides plenty of tables, chairs and computers that are available for you to use as you study and complete homework!

Study Rooms on Campus

Sometimes you need a quiet area on campus so that you can work on assignments for your undergraduate healthcare degree. The library has study rooms for such occasions that are available to students to reserve for various lengths of time during any hours that the library is open. The library also has a quiet room where any loud noises and use of electronics is prohibited, which ensures complete silence. In addition to the library, every dorm on campus has at least one study room on each floor!

Learning Lounge

Lastly, GCU is proud to offer the Learning Lounge to its students! The Learning Lounge is where you can receive free tutoring services from other students in specific courses. Our Learning Lounge helps you in areas such as completing homework assignments, starting a paper or using the correct format for citing sources. The Learning Lounge is staffed by adjunct faculty and other students who are fully committed to helping you achieve academic success!
