Lead Pastor of Catalyst Church Samson Dunn joined us for Chapel Monday morning to talk about us college students and the local church. Samson said that the local church is the means of which God has given us to build His kingdom here on earth. The Great Commission would not be fulfilled without starting by building up our community within our local churches.
“As it is, there are many parts, but one body.” (1 Corinthians 12:20)
He gave the audience three ways that we should be getting involved with the local church.
He read from 1 Corinthians 12:12-20, saying that even though sometimes we don’t like being involved with our local church or we “church hop.” And with that, true and impacting community can only be found in when we allow ourselves to serve as the body of Christ.
