“You, God, are my God, earnestly I seek you; I thirst for you, my whole being longs for you.” (Psalm 63:1)

Bring on the stretchy pants and Mom’s famous stuffing!

Thanksgiving came and went before we knew it. But, today is Black Friday and leftover sandwiches only persist our turkey coma.

We gave thanks, and now it is back to regular life, hurrying ourselves with the hubbub of Christmastime and getting in everything we possibly can to accomplish what needs to get done.

We consume ourselves with the craziness of life. It never really seems ever to take a break.

So, during this break in classes, remember to spend time with the ones who fill you up. Whether it is family, friends or your church community, remember that the Lord fills our cup.

We are able to return to His arms like the Prodigal Son. We are able to find rest in His presence and return to where we can pour out into others once again.
