GCU’s online Bachelor of Science in Nursing: RN to BSN program is designed for registered nurses who want to build on their clinical experience while advancing their nursing education. Students also complete practicum experiences, with 40 practicum hours required for most students (100 hours required for Washington students under WAC rule 246-840-531).

Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements (Bachelor's)

  • An active, current and unencumbered RN license
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma
  • 2.8 cumulative GPA

Residency Requirement: Undergraduate students must complete at least 30 semester credits of coursework in a Grand Canyon University program to satisfy residency requirements.

Upper Division Credit Requirement: For a baccalaureate degree, a student must earn a minimum of 36 semester credits in upper division (300 or above) courses.

If you enroll in the RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Bridge to Master of Science in Nursing pathway, we will award you 5% off the tuition per course for your program. Scholarship applies to the undergraduate courses in the Bridge to Master of Science in Nursing. This scholarship will be applied at the same time the tuition charges occur.
