#AskGCU: Where is the Best Place to Get Breakfast on Campus?

Waffles on a table

GCU students are back from winter break and they are hungry. Luckily, Grand Canyon University’s campus is full of great places to eat, so the #AskGCU team set out to see what students think is the best place to get breakfast. There were lots of opinions and no clear winner. In fact, it seemed more like a five-way tie. Nevertheless, let’s take a look at which places topped the list.

Einstein’s

Located in the Student Union, Einstein’s is a student favorite for coffee and bagels! With a wide selection of drinks, sandwiches, and snacks it is never a bad time to go to Einstein’s. While GCBC still rules campus coffee, Einstein’s has the best bagels around.

Chick-fil-A

There is a special place for Chick-fil-A in the heart of every GCU student. Students love the restaurant so much that a new location was built at the base of the new Diamondback Apartments on East Campus just to keep up with student demand. Students can’t get enough of Chick-fil-A, especially their breakfast selection. If you are looking for hash browns and a good chicken biscuit sandwich, Chick-fil-A is your place.

Qdoba

Another go-to place on campus is Qdoba. Popular for all meals, Qdoba has a special breakfast menu that includes breakfast bowls and burritos. Students love these hearty meals that will keep them feeling full and satisfied all day long.

Urban Center Café

Often overlooked, GCU’s Urban Center Café, located in the very center of the Student Union, offers a wide and varying breakfast selection. Here students can get waffles, fruit, eggs and even build their own omelet! For a fixed price, students can fill up on as much food as they want, making it a great place to go when you’re especially hungry in the morning.

Lean Canteen

One of GCU’s healthiest options, Lean Canteen is located on the second floor of the arena and offers a variety of protein shakes, scrambled egg bowls, oatmeal, yogurt, and breakfast burritos. Students enjoy coming here because of the healthy options that are available to them.

No matter your preference, GCU has something for everybody!
