Director of Church Relations Billy Thrall gave an inspirational talk at this week’s Summer Chapel service about what it truly means to be a good friend.

“The power of the faith of others, the fact that four friends got their buddy healed, is amazing to me,” Thrall said. “Are you the kind of friend that the vulnerable feel safe with?”

Thrall explains that, while this true story from the book of Luke is inspirational in many ways, part of the power in these verses is that a crippled man trusted his friends and had faith that they would help him to be healed through Jesus. Thrall carries the message of what it means to be a good friend and the importance of friendship throughout his talk.
