Hasn’t the Bible been rewritten many times? How do I know which version to read?
On this week’s Trending Faith, Grand Canyon University Pastor Tim Griffin and Dr. Jason Hiles, dean of the College of Theology, sat down to answer this question.
Dr. Hiles explained that each version of the Bible is actually just a different translation of an already complete text. Therefore, the Bible hasn’t actually ever been “rewritten” so to speak—it has been translated many times by people who are trying to clearly communicate the message and the text.
