Grand Canyon University and the College of Education is a member in good standing of the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). The AAQEP was founded in 2017 by educators across the country to promote a framework that includes comprehensive standards of program performance, growth, practices and improvement. These standards promote teacher-preparedness through the use of programs and cohorts that meet periodically. The AAQEP uses evidence in written reports and technological advances to provide full transparency in quality and expectations.
