#AskGCU: Is There a Good Place to Take a Nap on Campus?

By Allison Richmond

A student taking a nap

This week on #AskGCU, Julian and his crew hit up campus to find the best place to take a nap! They started at Thunderground where the team tried out the outdoor lawn chairs as well as the couches and seating inside. They tested the comfort, quietness and darkness of this popular space. The inside of Thunderground is full of comfy seats, long couches and dim lighting: a napper’s paradise. Here they even witnessed a student in the middle of a nap, giving Thunderground the lead in the battle for the best place to nap at GCU.

The group then moved to the library. This location was very quiet, but did not have very much comfortable seating besides a couple of couches and was very bright. The couches, while comfortable just couldn’t compare to the comfort of Thunderground.

In the end, Julian and the crew concluded that Thunderground is indeed the best place to take a nap on campus because it’s quiet, dark and full of comfortable seats and couches.

So if you’re feeling tired and your bed is just too far away, head on down to Thunderground for the best nap on campus! You won’t be disappointed!
