Grand Canyon University is known for its friendly atmosphere. You can feel it as soon as you step on campus. The people at GCU are like no other and really make the school what it is. GCU really stands out from other universities because our impeccable faculty and student body do all they can to serve the community and encourage one another every day.

The opportunities available to students is seemingly endless. No matter what your major or interest, there is a club for you! GCU also provides career services to help students find internships and jobs after graduation and has hundreds of student worker positions to help students get job experience before they graduate.

GCU has lots of great food options on campus including a Chick-fil-A on Lopes Way and a new Chick-fil-A to open on East Campus soon. Students love the variety and options available on campus!

This week on #AskGCU the team went out on campus to answer a pressing question. Why should I go to GCU?

The students they interviewed gave some great answers and had a lot to say about why they love GCU.

Grand Canyon University has three community pools on campus for students to enjoy. There is one in the Grove, one in front of Chaparral hall and one at Papago. Students can often be seen tanning by the pool or just hanging out with friends.

While the ongoing construction can sometimes cause frustration, GCU students love to see the improvements and additions that keep on coming to campus. GCU is growing fast, allowing us to reach more of our community and provide even more opportunities for students.

As one student said, “Lope country is the best country!” Students here at GCU love their school and want others to come to love it, too. Why go to GCU? Because where else would you go?

From the student-led outreach projects to the packed Chapel services, God’s love and presence is felt all throughout campus. It’s not unusual to see students praying for one another in the Student Union or walking to Bible studies together. Students love the opportunities they have to serve others and be ministered to all week long.
