Finding Tatum’s Purpose: Family Trip to San Diego

San Diego from above By Tatum Sorrelman Posted on August 30, 2017  in  [ GCU Experience ]

Every summer, my family and I go to San Diego. I was very excited to go on our annual family trip! The drive over is one of my favorite parts of the vacation; there’s lots of singing and laughing, which is a lot of fun, especially when my family is involved.

We stay in a cottage on the pier – it’s so beautiful and sleeping over the ocean makes our trip even more special. We went down to the beach a lot (I can confidently say that I got a decent tan). We went boogie boarding. We played in the sand, body surfed and looked for seashells. We went shopping a lot, too. I love being able to bring these souvenirs back home with me.

That little cottage in San Diego is one of my favorite places in the world. Not only because it’s beautiful, but also because of all the memories it holds in my heart.

It’s almost time for sophomore year! Follow my college experience on GCUTV and here on the GCU Blogs Network.
