Here at Grand Canyon University, we value a well-rounded education. It’s always important to try to find time for both academics and fun. With all of the clubs and organizations on campus, it’s easy for everyone to get involved and ensure they’re getting the most out of their college experience.

Colangelo Scholars

For honors students studying in the Colangelo College of Business, the Colangelo Scholars is here to build a community. Dr. Randy Gibb, Dean of the College of Business, works alongside faculty and staff of the Honors College to provide resources, internships, networking opportunities, unique learning experiences and more for our dedicated students. If you are an honors business student looking to grow in your professional and personal development, as well as meet and learn from experts in the field, consider becoming a part of the Colangelo Scholars.

Alpha Chi Honors Society

The exclusive Alpha Chi Honors Society accepts and honors those who place in the top ten percent of their class, open to all academic disciplines. The high-achieving students in the GCU chapter are able to join a community on campus and across the country that offers a chance to boost intellectual life through leadership and service opportunities. Alpha Chi also offers scholarships and awards, as well as the opportunity to for undergraduates to have original scholarly work published in their peer-reviewed online journal, Aletheia.

Honors STEMists

Honors students studying in the areas of health care, technology, engineering and computer science can find a community of peers in the Honors STEMists. Faculty and staff of the College of Nursing and Health Care Professions and the College of Science, Engineering and Technology work together with the Honors College to provide resources for motivated students in these fields. Students have the opportunities to participate in relevant educational field trips, course-specific study groups, preparations for graduate and medical school exams and much more.
