The most obvious way to get involved on campus is by joining a club. GCU has a variety of different types of clubs. For example, there are academic clubs that may correlate with your major or academic interests, outreach clubs dedicated to bettering the community and social clubs that connect you with other Lopes on campus.
Intramurals are a great way for students to get together and stay active. With sports ranging from bowling to flag football, GCU intramurals has a sport for everyone. If you are just not that into playing sports, intramurals still provide a great way to build community. You can cheer on your friends and meet other sporty Lopes!
Looking to venture out away from the Phoenix area? The GCU Outdoor Recreation Program is perfect for those looking to add a bit of zing to their college experience. The program lets you participate in awesome excursions such as kayaking, rappelling, backpacking and paddle boarding. You are bound to meet some new expeditioners and gain some useful skills!
