Residence, Apartment and Meal Plan Rates

Use the housing and meal plan rates listed below to calculate costs. Both residence halls and apartments are available to GCU students as well as a variety of meal plans.

Residence Hall Rates

Acacia, Camelback, Canyon, Chaparral, Cypress, Ironwood, Juniper, Ocotillo, Prescott, Saguaro, Sedona, Willow

Triple Occupancy $1,925 per semester
Double Occupancy - Canyon, Cypress $2,300 per semester
Double Occupancy  $2,600 per semester

Apartment Rates

Agave, Antelope, Cactus, Diamondback, Encanto, Jerome, North Rim, Palo Verde, Papago, Roadrunner, Sonora, Ponderosa (New apartment opening fall of 2020)

Single Occupancy   $3,300 per semester
Single Occupancy - North Rim $3,150 per semester
Double Occupancy - North Rim $2,900 per semester
Studio Single Occupancy - Papago $2,900 per semester

Summer Housing Rates

Active student
(actively enrolled in at least one course)
$1,300
Working student
(on-campus job, but not taking courses)
$1,700

All residents commit to housing reservations as an academic year-long lease (both fall and spring semesters) and are charged for housing by the academic year (both fall and spring semesters).

All housing charges are billed to the student's account.

For payment methods and deadlines contact your university counselor or student services counselor.

All rates include parking (summer only), rent, water, electricity, basic cable and Internet. Rates above DO NOT include tax.

Meal Plans

Meal plans for 2020-21 are Dining Dollars only; all housed students are required to choose a meal plan.

Canyon 250 Commuter students only $250 per semester
Canyon 775 Minimum requirement for upperclassmen apartment residents or commuters only $775 per semester
Canyon 1050 Minimum requirement for new, incoming apartment residents $1,050 per semester
Canyon 1400 Minimum requirement for residence hall residents $1,400 per semester
Canyon 1850   $1,800 per semester
Canyon 2150   $2,050 per semester
Canyon 2750   $2,600 per semester
