Sports have always been a huge part of Brittany’s life. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska and played soccer, basketball and golf while in high school. During her time at Grand Canyon University, Brittany was a D1 athlete and was on the women’s golf team, working her way up to team captain.

She was also the president and co-founder of the Sports Business Club. The club allows students to gain insight, experiences and opportunities in the field of sports business. Through guest speakers, experimental learning, club meetings, leadership networking, field trips and special events, students can use these tools to further their education and knowledge.

To top it all off, Brittany was the event coordinator for the Western Athletic Conference. She created and hosted the WAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee After College Conference. The NCAA gives student-athletes a voice through advisory committees at the campus, conference and national level. Each committee consists of student-athletes that provide insight on the student-athlete experience and offer their input on the rules, regulations and policies that affect student-athletes’ lives on campus.

Brittany was an intern for Position Sports in Phoenix, Arizona. Position Sports is a national sports marketing firm that specializes in corporate branding, PR and marketing, event development, social media and website development.
