Discover Your Purpose with Discover GCU
Do you ever wish that you could spend a day or two on a college campus to figure out what college life would be like there? Grand Canyon University offers Discover GCU, where you can experience two days on our beautiful campus, including an overnight stay in one of our dorms, for free!
Experience College Life Before Graduating from High School!
To first be eligible for this event, you must be admissible to GCU. You can work you’re your admissions counselor to apply and then register for a Discover trip. On your Discover trip, you will get to experience campus life at GCU to the fullest. Depending on the time you go, you could be attending a basketball game, soccer game, concert or other event on campus! You will be able to tour the school and see the different colleges, as well as the amenities that are available to students. Participants also get to try out the food options that are available on campus at GCU, including Chick-fil-A, Habit Burger, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Slices and more.
Why Should You Discover GCU?
Discover is an opportunity that will help you as you get closer to graduating and getting ready for college. It is not an easy choice to figure out where you will be getting your higher education, and this is an important decision that takes time to decide. By visiting our campus, you get the opportunity to see the day-to-day lives of students and hopefully help you in your decision-making process.
Discover GCU offers various events throughout the year. If you already know your degree of interest, GCU offers degree or interest specific events for programs such as Honors College, STEM programs and many more.
If you are like me and have no clue what you are getting into, I highly recommend taking one of these Discover trips! When I came to GCU, I had no clue what the campus looked like or if I would even like it. I am blessed enough to have had the experience of a lifetime at GCU and hopefully you can too!
